I just cycled through all the new maps in bo6 bot lobby service, and I gotta say—this is the strongest launch pool we’ve had in years. Top tier for me is Silo. It’s a three-lane dream with vertical flanks and a clean design. It’s perfect for both 6v6 and Search & Destroy. Kinsasha Station is a close second—urban warfare with tight corners, but not too claustrophobic. It reminds me of Express from Black Ops 2, but more open. Checkmate Redux is back with a twist—now with partial destructibility, and it plays totally differently. I’m still undecided on Waterfront, though. It’s beautiful but the underwater sections feel gimmicky and too reliant on flank routes. I love that Treyarch brought back a dedicated gunfight map too—Steelworks is amazing for 2v2s. Tight, brutal, and all about movement and reaction time. No map feels like a total dud yet, but BioLab might get old fast. The sightlines feel off, and I keep getting spawn-trapped. Maybe they’ll patch spawn logic soon? What’s everyone’s favorite so far? And how are they feeling in Ranked vs. Casual? |
